McIlmoils
7 Brothers' Ranch was started in 2002 with just 4 pure bred Corriente cows bought from Joe Floyd. Since 2002 we have grown are herd to more than 70 head through purchases and selective breeding. In 2007 we split the herd by taking 20 bred females to Brownsville, Oregon.
The "7 Brothers' Ranch" consists of the seven sons of John and Peggy McIlmoil. There is a span of 13 years between the youngest and oldest. The brothers live in Oregon, Washington, and Utah, and our jobs range from school teacher, project manager, medical student, and paramedic to veterinarian. All 7 brothers are married and several brothers have been blessed with children.
We raise pure bred Corriente sports cattle for the roping pen and the show ring. We regularly attend the Pacific Northwest Corriente Association show in Winnemucca, Nevada. Cattle are available year round whether you want roping steers, bulldoging steers, show cattle, commercial cattle, or breeding bulls. Team penning calves are also available.
